Ren Yuan

The Chinese have a phrase "Ren Yuan" which i feel seem to describe my day yesterday when i was working at Furama the Banquet Hall.

Yesterday i was doing a banquet weeding for this couple. While the couple's best friends were testing out the video, i saw a very familiar face opening the bridal car door. It was a guy from my secondary school.

This is the first time in the 1 year that i have worked at Furama that i have seen someone who i recognized.

Even more surprising is that when i was on the way home in the bus, i met my JC classmate who like me dropped out at the end of the year to pursue a Polytechnic education. I was so surprised to meet him that i smsed him on the bus. He waved to me. Because he was with his friends so i did not get to talk to him. But it was nice to see him.

Anyway I'm depressed about something, my Boyfriend is having exams this week and will be flying back to the Philipines this coming Sat when i will be in Malaysia. I will be in Malaysia from thur to sat. That means we won't be seeing each other until he comes back.

NO.............!!!!!!!!!!

But then it can't be helped since he goes back almost every term vacation. I''ll miss him but until he comes back i will have a picture of him and of course the usual msn chats.

Burned Weekend

My weekend is toasted. Arggh... After so many late nights working on my projects for school i was actually looking forward for the first time in a long while to curling up and hiding away in my hermit shell for some R&R. But as usual i will be dragged around this friday evening on a heritage trail, Sat morning on the kinderland event and sat late afternoon helping out in a CLAP! event. Stupid me for being a sucker and always being so eager to be in the thick of action. I probably won't be able to watch batman again this week i guess. SOB...

Anyway for those nosey parkers who seem so interested in how my BF looks like here's a pic of him and me at Central Clark Quay.Some background info on him
He is 19 this year.
He is a Chinese Filipino.
He studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
He is in his second Year of study.
We met at the 3rd red camp(2006) organised by NP.
We studied at the same JC (Pioneer Junior College) for the first three months. He was in the science stream while i was in the arts stream.
He has 2 younger sisters, one of which is the same age as me. We kinda get along well i think.


I think this is enough to satisfy you people right!! lol just joking.

Anyway i would consider my relationship with him to be in the initial stages where both sides are still getting to know each other. We mostly meet during weekends cause that is the only time both of us are free. The weekdays are hard to find time to meet cause he stays in toa payoh while i stay in cck. Furthermore he also got his rock climbing training and i got my lifesaver training. Anyway, one thing i learned was that it is really tough to maintain a relationship because both sides must find time for each other.

Gotta get back to do some of my work so will blog more soon.
